Sports Vision is essentially visual training that involves high-level eye tracking, depth perception, hand-eye coordination, etc. We will design a sports therapy plan based on your sport, position, and skill level after performing baseline testing.

The specific visual and sensorimotor skills we test at our initial evaluation include:

  • Visual Clarity
  • Contrast Sensitivity
  • Depth Perception
  • Near/Far Quickness
  • Visual Memory (perception span)
  • Multiple Object Tracking
  • Reaction Time
  • Target Capture
  • Eye/Hand Coordination
  • Go/No Go (quick targets with quick decision making required; tap green don’t tap red)

These and other tests in our evaluation can help determine how your eyes will function beyond the realm of normal activity. We can customize a program to strengthen your vision based on your sport/position. If you are interested in this type of training, to set you apart from the rest, call our office and request a sports vision evaluation.
